The RPB 1040-00088 impact lens sits in front of the Z-Link welding auto-darkening filter (ADF) and takes the spatter, sparks, and debris that would otherwise pit and damage the filter. When an impact lens gets dirty or scratched, swap in a fresh one for a clear view and keep your ADF in service far longer. It’s a low-cost wear part that saves you from replacing a much more expensive filter.
