Sizing Reference 

  • First Digit (Fan Width): Multiply the first digit by 2 to get the approximate spray fan width in inches (at a 12-inch distance).
    • Example (4xx): 4 × 2 = 8-inch fan width
    • Example (5xx): 5 × 2 = 10-inch fan width
    • Example (6xx): 6 × 2 = 12-inch fan width 
  • Last Two Digits (Orifice Size): Represent the diameter of the tip opening in thousandths of an inch, controlling fluid output.
    • Example (xx10): 0.010-inch orifice
    • Example (xx14): 0.014-inch orifice
    • Example (xx16): 0.016-inch orifice
